NDE Proofs

Information obtained during an NDE was later verified are common worldwide. Numerous individuals have accurately described events they claim to have witnessed while out-of-body during an NDE. As well, people across cultures have reported the “Peak-in-Darien” phenomenon during NDEs, in which they met deceased individuals not known to have died at the time of the experience.

Validating the OBE or the encounter with the previously deceased person also validates the reality of the NDE itself.

Examples:

• A 5th century CE Italian boy named Armentarius returned from his visit to the otherworld with the ability to speak all languages
  
  
• During his 1858 NDE, the Sioux warrior White Bull learned of the specific medicinal roots that would cure his illness after his return to life.
  
  
• In an early 19th century Native American account from British Columbia, a Dakelh NDEr returned from the otherworld with information about Christ – despite having had no prior knowledge of Christianity. Similarly, in southern Africa, a Sotho NDEr learned about baptism on a near-death visit to heaven; and another returned from his NDE miraculously able to read after the Christian god bestowed literacy upon him.
  
  
• The impending deaths of particular individuals were revealed during a Mbundu NDE, and in that of a medieval English knight named Boso in 1093.
  
  
• In 1861, a French minister named L. J. Bertrand had an NDE while mountain-climbing in Switzerland, and saw specific, accurate details during an OBE: the guide stealing food and wine, and his wife many miles away boarding a different train than the one she had planned
