38% See Deceased Loved Ones
51% Encounter Spiritual Beings

Why do NDErs very often meet relatives and friends, but not a spouse? This is difficult to account for. Perhaps, if the NDEr crossed a border — the point of no return — they would see them again. It is often intimated that the NDEr has encountered their “spiritual tribe” during their journey. These are beings they have traveled many lifetimes with.

Few are described as children who appear to be the same age as when they passed, and even fewer who were children when they crossed over, now looking older.

Meeting deceased relatives is one of the most common elements of NDEs around the world and throughout history. Almost all of them have this feature and differ only by which relative met them. The beings encountered are specific to an individual's personal history.

“What is a guide? Who is it?" Usually, they don't know, but they call it an angel or a guide. It is difficult to see a difference between ‘guides’ and ‘spiritual beings’ or ‘angels.’ It's not a deceased relative.

Perhaps we all have some guardian angel who will lead us both there, as well as in this world, but we don't see it. This is speculation.
